While we're gone: HONEYPIE ARCHIVES!

Not only is Mikelle a full-on Asian princess, and has probably the best wardrobe in the universe- but she and her husband also live in Salt Lake and eat burgers and Hires.

Dream. Come. True.

...

Hi, I’m Mikelle from The Honeypie Archives, and I’m so excited to be a guest here while Sam is away!

I’m a newlywed, and (goes with saying really) on a budget.  Actually, to be more honest I’d probably say my clothing budget has become nonexistent.  So, I have to be creative with what I’ve got, and when I do get to buy clothes, make sure they are “stretchy” items, meaning versatile and easily integrated into my wardrobe.

I try to find ways to wear my clothes at school (campus), at work (office), and at play (date night).   I picked 3 common items to show how easily adding and subtracting different layers, accessories and shoes can really “stretch” your clothes.

I apologize in advance for the lack of details and boringness in the photos, we took these really fast and the weather has not been good enough to go outside!

yes, i love this. i have zero dollars to spend on clothes right now too, which has been really great actually because it's forced me to get creative like this. one day i took out all my clothes which i'm totally bored with and began putting them on in "weird" ways. i found so many great new looks/combos that i'm excited to wear now.

wow! thanks so much for these!

And could you please do tons more?! jajaja. I totally understand the whole "newlywed on a non-resistant clothing budget" thing! I need more creativity in putting outfits together like that!
