feeling better

We're still slowly piecing together everything that was stolen almost 10 days ago. Last night, our family night activity consisted of filling out the insurance claim form. Yuck. It'll be interesting to see how much we get considering we have almost no proof of ownership for anything that was taken. Dang.

In the meantime, here are some things that are making me feel more content:

This little sister of mine. She used to be a model but is now serving an LDS mission in Mesa, Arizona. She is such a great example of perseverance and cute optimism. I miss her.

My City and Colour station on my Pandora. Anything that plays the Xx, Arcade Fire, Band of Horses, and Phoenix all in one place has my vote.

I'm teaching my UVU class tonight. Teaching college and leading an art therapy group are similar in that I'm up in front of a group of people, in charge and leading them in some way. But mostly, they are different. Lately, I've really been enjoying the differences and appreciating the experience of being a professor.

Today I bought a new planner, small bottle of sweet pea lotion, and lip gloss. All three are back in my purse. Feels good.

Cold milk with Hershey's chocolate syrup stirred in. Yum.

What's bringing you contentment on this Tuesday day?
