hello and welcome to our blog!
we met when my family moved to new york. i was thirteen, chas was fourteen, and our families soon became the best of friends. while we spent our teenage years together, i had a crush on chas and chas had no idea. as time passed, we both grew up and each went our separate ways. i graduated from byu, got married, moved to oregon, got divorced, and earned a master's degree in art therapy counseling. chas served an lds mission in milan, italy for two years, moved to utah, and studied filmmaking at byu. when i moved to utah after grad school, we began spending time together. soon after, we fell in love under shooting stars and were married in january of 2010.
in the summer of 2012, we welcomed our first baby girl, hero marilyn, into the world.
for now, i have put aside my art therapy work and teaching for the community health department at utah valley university so i can play with hero all day, every day. it's the best job ever.
chas works as the lead editor of an advertising agency.
we love each other, our families, and watching friday night lights.
we live in a red brick duplex in salt lake city.
