hello and welcome to our blog!

we met when my family moved to new york. i was thirteen, chas was fourteen, and our families soon became the best of friends. while we spent our teenage years together, i had a crush on chas and chas had no idea. as time passed, we both grew up and each went our separate ways. i graduated from byu, got married, moved to oregon, got divorced, and earned a master's degree in art therapy counseling. chas served an lds mission in milan, italy for two years, moved to utah, and studied filmmaking at byu. when i moved back to utah after grad school, we began spending time together. soon after, we fell in love under shooting stars and were married in january of 2010.

in the summer of 2012, we welcomed our first baby girl, hero marilyn, into the world. goldie liesa was born in july of 2014.

for now, i have put aside my art therapy work and teaching for the community health department at utah valley university so i can play with my girls all day, every day. it's the best job ever.

we love each other, our families, and watching friday night lights.

we live in a red brick rambler in bountiful, utah.
