We went to Ikea and bought a crib.
By a miracle, we eventually fit the box into our tiny car.
Back at home, Chas put it together while I worked hard on assembling the little lamp we also bought.
It's amazing how having a crib set up transforms that room. It suddenly looks like a nursery in there! I keep opening the door as I pass by, looking into the room for a few moments.
And, just now, Chas led me into the room because I was having a small emotional breakdown moment and he told me to just come look at the nursery because it would make me feel better.
He was right. It totally did.

Awww, so sweet! That's so exciting - congrats! :)
Isn't IKEA amazing? So glad you guys found a crib!
Ahh! Getting the crib brings things to a whole new level of 'real'. So fun, so sweet, and so exciting!
Aw, how exciting :) You two are going to be fabulous parents, I just know it! :)
What a fun night! I wish there was an Ikea near us! I feel like the day you put together the crib is a Very.Important.Day!!
I remember putting up Harper's crib. I loved looking at it and imagining her in it. It felt like no time at all before we were taking it down and putting up her big girl bed.
Isn't it so fun finally having a crib? When we set ours up a few weeks ago the whole pregnancy thing became a lot more real.
We couldn't get something from ikea in the car and we had to call my parents to come help us tie it to the top of their car. You don't think about how big the box will be!
Oh, IKEA is always my first choice. How great to have a crib!
Yay. :) Having a crib definitely signifies that a baby is coming soon. :)
Be calm..

Part I don't like...putting furniture together. Part I like...when it's all done.
Luckily for you Chas did all the work! But of course you're pregnant so you it's good you didn't lift anything heavy!
