it's an iPhone life

Last week, we went to two concerts, two nights in a row.
The Decemberist concert was Thursday night and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Pioneer Day celebration concert was Friday.

Yeah. We're pretty extreme.
Both concerts were great.
Although I will say that the Decemberist show made me realize one, simple truth:

People are gross.

This is also something I'm reminded of whenever I go to theme parks...and Walmart.

But then there was this beautiful view coming out of the conference center Friday evening:
Mmmmm hmmm.
I love me some Salt Lake City temple.

Know what else I love?
Puppies.

This one belongs to my parent's next door neighbor.
His name is Stanley and I love him with all my heart.

When my mom noticed he was outside, my sisters and I squealed with excitement just like...a couple of girls...wanting to play with a puppy. (Nailed it.)
At the time, I may or may not have been holding human baby Banks and said something along the lines of, "Here! Take him!" to his mom before rushing outside.

Side note: Why is it that puppy's eyes almost always look insane in pictures?

Remember how I thrifted that shirt and belt?
Yeah, me too.

Decemberist concert AND Mormon Tabernacle Choir?? Your ears must love you. For real. Mine would thank me for the field trip--they're bored of iTunes :) And yes, people are gross (and sweaty) especially at concerts.

Glad you're having some fun this summer though. Like playing Scrabble in bed and listening to choirs. Hey, I like how you roll.

Oh, and that girls/puppy line--yup, NAILED it!

haha! People are totally gross when you start looking around, it's so true, and I swear, half the time, I am probably one of those people (dangit)! :)

Oh puppies! My hubs and I finally watched Marley & Me last night for the first time...oh my heck, we were bawling like little babies. We love dogs around here! They are just too adorable.

SUCH a cute puppy. I guess you guys are ok. Haha! Jk. And yes, people are gross. Especially at the Gallivan center and free concerts. And strangers touching. It's weird. I don't like it.

Hahaha! This definitely made me laugh since in my small town all we have right now is a Wal-mart, although there will hopefully be a Meijer here in a few years. :)

I'm so jealous! I want to go to a pioneer celebration soo baddd!

At church this Sunday the primary president was talking to the kids and said "You know, in Utah, they actually celebrate pioneer day with parades and music and food!" And I just sat there pouting.

One of these days...also, I love your SLC temple pic <3

Bahahaa, "here, take him!" -I'm so the same when it comes to dogs/puppies. Puppies always win. Maybe it will change whenever I end up having a baby? Maybe.
