Reason #2844 why I want a little cryings

So I can have a baby shower like this:
Ok, let's cut to the chase.

We played "Pin the Sperm on the Egg" and smelled melted candy bars in diapers.
Obvi.

And see that little spermy smack dab in the middle of the egg?
Yeah. That's mine.

I guess when you've been trying for a little cryings, you get reeeeaally good at that game.
(Cheating also helps.)

On second thought, maybe I'm not very good at pinning the sperm on the egg.
Otherwise, I'd be pregnant.
Dang.

I'm open to your thoughts on ways to cheat in the REAL game of "Pin the Sperm on the Egg."

P.S.

This last picture is of the infamous Nora.
You can read more about Nora's undying love for Chas here
She cracks us up big time.

Cracks?...Like an egg?...

...sperm.

She is cute.

Someday I will be baby hungry, but until then I'll just enjoy listening to yours. Makes me laugh.

Haha! Way to go! I wish I had advice for you... But i am very inexperienced in that area... Haha! Obvi. :)

I can't give you any tried-and-true advice since I have historically proven be Fertile Myrtle (better than Moaning Myrtle, right?). But! I did see a post featured on C. Jane's blog today about HypnoFertility. I really hate to casually throw fertility advice in anyone's direction because it always comes off so casually, and infertility is obviously NOT a casual thing. But that post stood out to me. Maybe it was so I could pass it along to you? Who knows!

I really hope you can get a little cryings soon! I can't imagine your pain. You are so sweet it breaks my heart!

I understand where you are coming from. I am also itching for little "cryings" right now. I live by the saying "Everything happens for a reason" and although it can be really frustrating at times, you have just got to have faith in God's timing. For now just enjoy the quality time that you and Chas get to spend together and tick off a list of things that are not so baby-proof. hehe! xx

I know it stinks that I have no advice for you, but I hope you have success soon, because I can't wait to hear of your adventures in pregnancy and little cryings creation ;). Seriously, you're going to be a great Mom and I want that for you! If it's of any consequence, I'll send good vibes your way! :)

Well whenever it happens for you, I can't wait to see because you two will make the most gorgeous babies. Plus I can just imagine how much fun those babies of you are going to have having such COOL parents :)

i knew you cheated. i want your candy bar.

all i've got is to elevate those hips after. graphic, i know. and be patient even though i know it feels impossible. a watched pot never boils. isn't that the saying?

Love your post! ;) I do have some advice that worked for me. The husband and I had been trying since February and recently got pregnant in May. I was very impatient to say the least because I expected it to happen right when I wanted it to, but it is not my plan here right? lol So I took the situation into my own hands and picked up an OPK, ovulation predictor kit. I used it once and it worked. Same thing happened to a friend of mine, she used it once it worked. So I say it is worth a shot!

What a fun baby shower! I like how the "egg" was like a chicken egg rather than a human one, haha!

I have no advice since Rob and I are nowhere near trying for babies, but someone suggested elevating hips and that seems like a good idea? I also know people who have had luck with the ovulation tests and monitoring your basal temperature. Helps you get a good sense of your body and what everything feels like, at least that's what I've been told.

Also, I love that headband!

The only advice that I have is the one that got me (unexpectedly) pregnant. Instead of waiting and counting out your fertile days, just have sex every single day of the month. Bam, pregnant. Haha!

pin the sperm on the eggggg!!!!! Yes!!! That is so cool. Also, those are my blue book and banners I made for a shower! I passed them onto heather and I'm glad they've been well loved :)

LOL...Love the game!! Too cute! My advise in regards to gaining little cryings is to stop thinking about it. Just put it out there and hope for the best. It will all happen in due time. Your life will change when it does happen..and you will have a fabulous baby shower, I'm sure. ;) Good luck to you and yours!! I'll put good vibes out there for you to get that sperm on the egg! :)

Love this shower. I especially love the idea of pin the sperm on the egg! Too funny. I just might have to use it in the future.

Hi! This is the first time I've commented on your blog and now I'm giving you fertility advice! Haha awkward. But I think you and your husband are adorable! I myself am haven't tried for a baby yet, but I've read a wonderful book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I use the charting for birth control but you can use the same thing for trying to get pregnant. It really helped me understand what is going on with my cycle, and I feel much more confident for when my husband and I do start trying for a baby.

Best of luck!!!!

You have the most beautifull, blue eyes, girl. Or green. Or whatever. They remind me of the bright, blue sky covering all the earth. Just make sure, miss gorgeous, you N your hubby make it Upstairs where we'll have the BIGGEST, WooHoo! party-hardy for eons and eons. If you don't, I'll be pissed. God bless you.
