pizza in the park

On Monday night, we grabbed a pizza and a quilt after work and headed to the park.
It's funny and wonderful how just a little change to your ordinary routine, like eating dinner on a quilt instead of at the table, can make an evening feel so much more special.

When we got to the park, it was warm outside and full of kids playing and a birthday party. Less than an hour later, it was almost dark, getting pretty chilly, and the park was empty.

Fall is here!

We also suddenly had a totally empty large pizza box on our hands.
Yup.
This is how we do.

Pizza is such a smart picnic meal. Easy clean-up, no utensils required...I'm going to remember this.

I love the colorization in these photos.

I love the colors too- especially how Chas' shirt matches the blanket.

Just the other day we realized how dark its getting so early too- Fall IS here. I love it, but I want to take advantage of the last rays of sunlight with something like a picnic. Good idea. :)

Love this! Can't wait for it to be cool enough for that here! Forecast for the rest of this week still has highs in the low 100*s. Gotta love AZ right? :/
Can't wait for fall here even if it shows up here a month or two after it does everywhere else.

Looks so so fun :) I love having picnics with my man too. We usually have our have picnics at the beach with greasy Mexican food instead of pizza hehe

So fun! We love nothing more than a picnic in the park! Also, I've been on vacation and just catching up on your posts. Saw the post about the means comments. There is no explanation other than that they are insanely jealous of a pretty girl, her cute husband, and their genuinely happy life!
