This is a close-up of a painting I did for my little sister, Rosie.
She's currently serving a mission for our church in Arizona.
The original painting was done on a huge poster board.
If we can mail poster boards, I'm wondering why I can't just mail myself to her.
I miss that girl.
Kinda like I miss my parents living nearby.
This was taken in their old house a few weeks before they moved.
Isn't that rug killer?
This is original graffiti art done by our favorite street artist, Banksy.
And this is Chas.
Keepin' it real.
Good thing I married him.
This was our dinner a few days ago.
It was glorious.
I mean, just look at those animal cookies and cookie dough chunks.
But clearly we're also sensible and included plenty of fruit with our meal as well.
A few hours later, we ordered a pizza.
Or was it Arby's?
The details escape me.

lovely painting, is it watercolor?
Hehe sometimes iPhone pics are WAY better than anything a REAL camera could do. Great job on that painting of your sis. And a pizza or heck, even Arby's sounds amazing right about now. I don't care if it's only 8:30 in.the.morning. ;)
Happy Friday, Sam!!
I love the burnt orange background in the painting. And her skirt reminds me of the swirls in your parent's rug. :)

What a great run, you parents sure have great taste!
Where was that Banksy?! I just got back from London and hoped that I would see one...we even made a special trip to Brick Lane (where his pieces are supposed to be), but no luck!!
Love all of these!! My favorites are probably the painting you did for your sister and the grafitti art. Amazing!!
I think I have commented before on your sister serving in AZ but I can't remember! Is she in the Mesa AZ mission? If so I may have seen her! A few weeks ago I interpreted (their is a Deaf/ASL mission in the Mesa mission) at an all day thing where a general authority came to speak the the mission. Wish I had remembered to pay attention and see if any of the sister missionaries looked like you! :)
Move to Portland! Move baaaaack! The double dates we could go on...tempting, right?! xoxo
Oh how I love frozen yogurt, pizza and arbys...preferably in one sitting. :)
have a wonderful weekend

the art of your sister is awesome...love the iphone life!
I love going through cell phone photos! They're always randomly awesome. I recently got a new phone and for some reason all my old photos didn't get transferred...which was sad. BUT that means that now I just need to fill up my new phone with a ton of pictures. :)
