A few nights ago, we (I) decided that we (I) had to have some pumpkin pie and hot chocolate.
And because eating desserts is always better in pajamas, we changed out of our clothes, into pajamas, and headed for the nearest Village Inn.
The pumpkin pie was actually pretty dang good.
Apparently Village Inn is full of surprises.
You know who else is full of surpises?
Early the next morning (9am), I was awakened to this:
"Sam. Hey, Sam. I just thought of a really great name for a pie shop in Salt Lake City.
This Is The Pie Place."
I gave a groggy but encouraging, "Uhh...That's awesome..."
But before I'd finished, he had already rolled over and gone back to sleep.
Moral of the story?
You never know when pumpkin pie cravings, pajamas, and pure genius will strike.
