Yesterday at work, my good friend/co-therapist asked if I was doing ok. She said I seemed a little "off."
I told her how I've honestly been feeling kinda bleh lately.
Not super inspired and a little apathetic.
Basically, my brain feels like mush.
I actually liked that she could sense my "off-ness."
I never want to feel like I have to fake a happy face.
If I'm feeling bleh, I can accept the "bleh-ness" and keep moving forward.
Feelings like apathy aren't the end of the world and I know it'll eventually pass.
But all this still makes thinking up post content feel more forced and like a chore than I want it to be.
I don't ever want to force anything with my writing on this blog.
There's no point in doing something if it's not genuine.
So, for now, "bleh" is where we'll leave it.
Also.
As I look at our weirdy style pics together, I can't help think about much I love Chas.
The end.

I know that feeling of "bleh" (been battling it a lot the last few months), but I have found that faith, friends and family have been the best remedies! The genuine joy always swings back around!
Sending happy thoughts your way!
(and LOVE your outfit... Going to mimic it today for sure)
You have beautiful eyes.

Haha, the one of you on your hands and knees is cracking me up!
Your style is awesome, though.
Hope the bleh's go away soon.
Bleh happens to the best of us. And you are one the best. Sooo...have some bleh moments/rest up. You are a true joy! xoxo
I got to see this outfit in person...neener neener! :)
amen to all of this, especially to "there's no point in doing something if it's not genuine."
I'm so lucky I found your blog (i have been a fan for a while now)! it feels like some sort of life manual, kind of like guidance. I'm feeling kind of "bleh" aswell and your post brought a smile to my "bleh" self, and for that I thank you.
xoxo
I've been feeling the same way lately. I blame it on the awesome weather. All I want is to be outdoors. :) Beautiful pics!
"bleh" is perfectly fine and needed sometimes. besides from feeling like that, you look "wow". sooner or later the two will match again!
love the skirt! i scrolled down to see where you got it because i really wanted it. way to make it! so cute!
I love the new blog design! You look so cute in these pics! Did you make that skirt yourself? Please impart your domestic wisdom.
Love your new blog design- and your guys' style posts always make me smile!

Love that mustard color on you! :) Not many can make that work...you do flawlessly! :) I think sometimes when we are feeling "bleh" is when some of our best ideas have time to simmer and come about!
hope the 'bleh' passes soon and you can be as sunny as your fab cardigan! :) x
