'tis the season!

I'm pretty into the Christmas spirit this year which is surprising because normally, for whatever reason, I just feel kinda "meh" about the whole season.

I love it but I don't luuuuuhhh-ove it, ya know?

Last night, however, I couldn't get enough of my Christmas Pandora stations.
I even scouted the outside of our duplex for an exterior outlet so we could put up some lights.
And when we couldn't find an outlet, I felt genuinely disappointed.

Making hot chocolate and seeing this little guy in the living room made me feel a little better, though.

We've yet to spend Christmas at home so we haven't crossed the buying-our-own-real-tree-and-ornaments bridge.
But, for now, this little cutie works just fine.

I completely understand! I'm 100% behind the meaning of Christmas, but have never been a big fan of it for various reasons. This year, I'm totally in to the whole season: family, decorations, the smells of the recipes, gift-giving, new years, hooray!

December tomorrow! Xo

Aww very cute little tree!! I love that it is white :) Target had the cutest mini trees this year complete with mini tree skirts, mini ornaments, and mini stars. Sooo adorable.

I think it's parenthood. Before Harper came along, I was not much of a Christmas person. It was just another day for me. Parenthood has renewed my love of this time of year. Parenthood makes everything better.

I bought a little white tree just like this from Target last year and I adore it in all it's mini glory! I also adore your space here; i'm a new follower.

Ive also got a little tree like that! I havent been able to decorate the apartment yet since we just moved in this week and the place is a mess. We travelling for Christmas so that I feel like I dont want to spend so much time and money decorating when we are not even going to be here. Think I'll wait until all the decorations are 50% off after Christmas and stock up for next year. :)

Such a cute tree! Sometimes all you need is a little something to make you feel "in the spirit". I can't wait to see your place next year after your little one has entered the world. Kids (and babies) change everything!
