vintage baby shower

My cousin's baby shower was last weekend and I was in charge of decorations.
Cue the darling vintage baby toy theme!

We had the shower in the backyard of my parent's new house.
You can't beat that view.
And the perfect little wooden fence was ideal for hanging old quilts and vintage illustrations.

But please don't think I deserve any credit for this vintage baby paradise.

My amazing friend, Holly, was the mastermind behind 99% of this. It was Holly who had the vintage shower idea, lent me her party supplies, and rounded up all this oldie toy goodness from parents and friends.

When you're planning a party/basically anything else in life, it's good to have a friend like Holly.

So cute! Not gonna lie, the baby doll kind of creeps me out (I can't be alone in feeling this way right?).

Everything looks great and that view, UNREAL. How lucky you are to live in such a beautiful place :)

that was me, not jared. but i love the thought of jared reading about holly and saying, "ain't that the truth..." like a woman from the south after a hard day's work.

you and holly should go into business together. your business cards could read, "we decorate your parties. and we're awesome." because, you are.

OMG! Such a lovely baby shower. Loved everything there especially the doll placed looks so real. Recently attended a bridal shower at one of San Francisco venues. There everything was just perfectly arranged and was all done by event planners.
