necessities

Recently, in my stress management class, a group presented on the topic of Healthy Lifestyles.
A requirement for group presentations is providing some kind of handout for each student.
And because I'm the professor, creativity is strongly encouraged.

This group passed out a balloon to each student with the phrase, "Don't let life weigh you down. Fly high with healthy lifestyles!" attached to each balloon.
Even I got one.
Standing in front of my class and seeing rows of colorful, floating balloons above each desk was one of my favorite moments of the semester.
So cute.

I just love teaching that class.
It makes me happy and has become a real necessity in my life.

You know what else I've decided is a must?
Whipped cream.
The kind that sprays out of the can.

Suddenly a bowl of strawberries or a steaming cup of hot chocolate seems super fancy.

Everyone needs a little extra fancy in their life, don't you think?

That idea for the balloon is so sweet!! I had to do a group presentation on interpersonal conflict recently, and I wish I had thought of something like that for a handout.
And those strawberries and hot chocolate...ooh, I'm craving.
Seeing that you have a new post always makes me happy :-) God bless you and Chas and your will-be little cryings!!

That would have been so fun to see.
Agree on the whipped cream. I was in charge of a wedding last weekend, and I made homemade Vanilla bean whipped cream for the hot chocolate... yum!

i've seriously considered getting weekly to monthly massages at the massage therapy school downtown where my friend is taking classes. $25 for an HOUR long massage. GNO?

I love the balloons they are such a cute idea.
When I first saw the blue my first thought was you were having a boy! Then I realized I was WAY ahead of myself and kept reading.
